YOUR DONATION PROVIDES HOPE 

The Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (SBTF) is devoted to funding a cure for brain tumors and providing support and outreach to patients and their families.  Since 2005, the SBTF has awarded more than $2.1 million dollars in research grants to 36 researchers from across the Southeast.

With an all-volunteer Board of Directors, the SBTF is dedicated and driven to make a significant impact toward finding a cure for brain tumors. The Board directives strive to insure all decisions result in the maximum allocation of funds to their intended purpose; namely brain tumor research grants and support group services.

Through our primary fundraising effort, the annual Race For Research event, the SBTF is able to award brain tumor research grants.  The generous support of our Corporate Sponsors during the race helps he to reduce race expense and maximize the amount of grant funding.  Funding is also raised throughout the year and is done so through the generosity of individuals who support us bi-weekly, monthly, and annually via workplace giving programs, Corporate Gift Match programs and Family Foundations.  

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and a public charity; your gift to the Foundation is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.  Donations may be made to the Foundation by check or electronic remittance (e.g. online), or on-site during Race For Research.  Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have.
