Sean's Squad participates in memory of Sean Lamprey. Sean passed away on November 21, 2016, after a courageous sixteen year fight with brain cancer. Sean was diagnosed during his freshman year in college at the University of Georgia. He had several surgeries, biopsies, radiation, and chemotherapy over the years. Sean always had a positive attitude and a smile on his face. You never would have known he had a brain tumor, except for his surgery scar. Sean was a fighter, and it was devastating for his family to see him rapidly decline over the course of just a few months. Sean lived a full life up until August of 2016, when his tumor recurred, and came back in a very aggressive form. Our mission is to raise awareness and funds for research into the treatment of brain tumors of all kinds, particularly oligodendroglioma and anaplastic astrocytoma, the types that afflicted Sean. Please help us honor his memory!
