Let's raise our voices in HOPE!
Hi Friends -
This is Team Jennifer's Hope's 11th year together and the 21st year for the Race for Research, which raises funds for brain tumor research! It is also the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation's (SBTF) 25th birthday.
Team Jennifer's Hope will always be about supporting all of the courageous warriors who, along with their families, fight against brain tumors, especially GBM. As you might imagine, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a serious impact on these warriors. This year's race, like everything else, will be reimagined. You can walk, run, bike, swim, or even dance to complete the 5K by September 26th. You can do it at home, on a trail, or anywhere you can find space to be safe! I would love for you to send me pics of how you are participating in the race this year!
I want to thank everyone who has ever participated or made a donation to Jennifer's Hope. This is obviously a fundraiser that I hold very close to my heart. It provides research grants for brain tumor research here in the Southeast - at facilities that treated both our dear friend Jennifer and my dad. I hope that you will consider giving to this important cause…any contribution is so appreciated.
Thank you for your continued support!
With love and gratitude,
Can I count on your support and participation this year? You can help by:
#1 - Registering for the Reimagined Race! Click the "join my team" button (on this page and to the right) to participate on my team.
#2 - Donate now by clicking the button to the right and help me reach my personal fundraising goal.
#3 - Spread the word about the SBTF, their mission, and this event, Race for Research by directing people to www.sbtf.org or sbtfrfr.com
This year's event was redesigned to allow you to participate from any location of your choosing. It gives you the freedom to walk, run, treadmill, skate, bike, wheelchair, dance or whatever method you choose your way to a 1k or 5k goal. Participants are asked to complete the event distance within the time frame of September 19, 2020 to September 26, 2020. You decide your method, your distance, and your route.
Your participation and support will have a positive impact on the life of a brain tumor patient because it will help to fund much needed brain tumor research.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my request for support. I appreciate it so so much.
