Let's raise our voices in HOPE!
Welcome to the Race for Research, benefitting Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation!
Team MOMMY POWER is in honor of, my mother, Ann Faulkenberry's fight with brain cancer. She died in 2008 after a sixteen month fight with a GBM that took her away from her husband, daughters, and four grandchildren.
She is missed and remembered every day, but we honor her memory with our fundraising efforts.
MOMMY POWER was named after the strength my mother showed during her life and certainly during her fight with brain cancer. Mothers have the power to change the world with all the little things they do for their families. Mothers support, raise awareness, offer hope, and encourage their children. All of these attributes are reflected in our team.
Please consider joining our team or making a donation of any amount.
MOMMY POWER has been participating since 2007 and we have reached over $150,000 in lifetime fundraising!! That means a grant was named in my mother's memory, something that I cherish and of which I know she would be proud.
Your participation and donations enable support, hope and courage for members of the brain tumor community. The Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation provides hope in many ways:
- providing acts of kindness to current patients undergoing treatment
- funding critical brain tumor research
- offering scholarships to those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis
- hosting support groups for patients and caregivers
PLEASE KNOW that your participation and/or donation will have a positive impact on the life of a brain tumor patient.
The Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation is recognized as as a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization and as a public charity. Donations to the SBTF are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
