Addressing the Needs of Brain Tumor Patients and Researchers

At Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation, our primary mission is to improve the quality of life for brain tumor patients and their families. By working together with our supporters, we aim to continue to be a source of hope through counseling, education and support.

About Our Foundation

How We Started

Founded in 1995, our organization operates exclusively as a 501(c)3 nonprofit and public charity. Our members were brought together by a brain tumor diagnosis, which has changed all our lives forever.

Commitment to Our Cause

The directives from our Board strive to ensure that all decisions result in the maximum allocation of funds for brain tumor research grants and support services. While we do not offer direct financial support to individual patients, we do support patient programs.

Research Funding

We fund scientific research and investigator-initiated clinical trials focused on finding a cure for brain tumors. Through the years, we have proudly awarded over $3,000,000  in research grants. Read more about our impact on brain tumor research.

The Importance of Reliable Support

Support group meetings are designed to give patients, as well as their families and caregivers, access to information and resources. These can help them navigate the brain tumor journey.

The meetings, conducted throughout the Southeast area, provide an opportunity to share experiences and learn about current therapies. Participants can also receive information about various aspects of brain tumor diagnosis and treatment. Click here to learn more about our support group offerings.
